Well, it seems the society's events have come to an end for the summer, so good luck with exams, and keep posting on the forums, and idling in IRC (what else are you going to do, revise??!!?)

Omg it's a UT2k4 match against Bristol!

There is scheduled an informal meeting on the Bristol Uni Gaming Society (oddly called COGS) dedicated server. At 8pm this coming Saturday (20th) COGS and BUNCS will fight in a TDM of UT2k4. It should be a fun session to size ourselves up against our possible opponents of a LAN next year...

The IP of their server is 82.71.110.196

To add the server to your internet games list, just right click and select 'add by IP' or something similar.

Pre-match, why not log in to the IRC channel (#buncs on freenode) or use the in-built forum client?!!?!! zomg..

Cinema Trip

In case you thought last night's successful console session + drinking social marathon was the last BUNCS event of the year we have one more still to run. A cinema trip is now planned for next Tuesday 16th May, with a new poll up to vote for which film you would like to see. No time has been set, but of course that will depend on the film chosen. So, vote away.

Omg it's a social!

While dan2097 will shortly confirm the times of Wednesday's console session (sounds like it'll be a long one!) I can confirm that we'll be hitting the Parade Bar once the consolathon is over for beer or fruit juice depending on whether you're a drunkard or not.
Either way it should be a great opportunity to chillax and say our farewells to those n00bs going on placement next year.. and for me to scowl at -TB- ;)
